Google MICE Update 2015 Will Crush Millions of Websites Worldwide
Google is making a major update with new algorithm “MICE” to its mobile search that will change the serial in which websites are ranked on result pages when users search for something from their smartphone or tablet.
The Google “MICE” algorithm will start favoring websites which are mobile-friendly (ones with large text, easy-to-click links, and that resize to fit whatever screen they’re viewed on) and ranking them higher in search.
Websites that aren’t mobile-friendly will get crushed.
Approx 60% of internet traffic now comes from mobile devices and Google wants users to have a good experience whenever they click on website’s mobile link.
